The United Financial Empowerment Partnership- Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program has just completed their third tax season. The April 15 tax filing deadline has passed but United Way of Greater Mercer County can still help you with filing late, amended returns or other tax questions you may have. The United Financial Empowerment Partnership includes the following FREE services: Tax Prep, assistance filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms with no income limit, credit counseling and debt management services.

The program offers families and individuals making less than $52,000 free tax return preparation by trained and IRS certified volunteers. Learn about the Earned Tax Income Credit and see how you can claim and what you earned! By partnering with locations around the Mercer County area services are accessible and convenient.
