Community Awards Celebration Luncheon

 

Robert Wood Johnson Company of the Year Award:  Wegmans 

Named after the son of the founder of Johnson & Johnson who grew the company exponentially while continuing to possess a strong sense of civic commitment and who wrote J&J’s company credo which outlined the company’s values and emphasized corporate social responsibility.

 

 

 

Lifetime Achievement Award: Dr. Glenn Brewer

The lifetime achievement award recognizes an individual that has shown dedication, commitment, and consistency to the United Way over time. Dr. Brewer is an outstanding ambassador for the United Way of Greater Mercer County who symbolizes our mission of service to the community.

 

 

Community Partner of the Year Award:  Jewish Family & Children's Service

The community partner of the year embodies the three–step community investment process that the United Way of Greater Mercer County employs.  JFCS knows the value of measurement, uses proven models in their important work, and has supported UWGMC in its mission of creating change in the community through positive, sustainable outcomes for those we serve.

 

 

Volunteer of the Year Award:  Alyssa Blochlinger

There are many outstanding individuals who commit their time and talent to changing lives in the community. Alyssa is a valuable and dedicated individual who does not hesitate to take on additional responsibility, 

support other volunteers with tips and suggestions, and is always courteous and helpful while remaining professional and eager to serve.
