More Canvas Consulting

Pilar Castro-Kiltz is the CEO and founder of More Canvas Consulting. Launched in 2014, the firm offers services in strategic planning, operations improvement, and communications management to a portfolio of clients across industries, including healthcare, higher education, social impact, and the arts. Pilar’s approach, which connects strategy with storytelling, draws both from her professional experience and her training at The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned an MBA and MFA, respectively.

Driven to build structures that fortify access to and experiences in the arts, in 2013 Pilar founded Princeton Arts Alumni—a non-profit organization that engages Princeton University students and alums to build a network of mentorship, resources, and presentations that illuminate pathways to careers and participation in the arts. Having graduated from Princeton University in 2010, Pilar has built partnerships and collaborative relationships with entities across campus to strengthen arts and entrepreneurship experiences for students, alums and other University community members.

Before founding More Canvas Consulting, Pilar served as the founding Artistic Director of Ensemble Dance, an interdisciplinary dance-theater company based in New York City. While leading the company, Pilar’s choreography was seen at Radio City Music Hall, on Off-Off Broadway stages, at competitively curated festivals, and on film. Based in Princeton, NJ, Pilar continues to write plays, to host workshops, and to cultivate creativity in herself and others. Learn more and contact Pilar at pilarck.com and morecanvas.com.
